Brad Kellogg is an historian and author from Wakefield, Nebraska. His focus is researching the forgotten century old historical stories that lie in our cemeteries. Some of those stories were published last March in “The Aisles of the Forgotten Graveyard.” He is the administrator of southdakotagravestones.org and co-administrator of nebraskagravestones.org. He also sits on the council of directors of the Northeast Nebraska RC&D.

Together Brad & Raija Weiershauser, his editor and contributor, research, write and present a variety of historically accurate Living History programs for Historical Societies, Chautauqua’s, and private performances. They are regular presenters at the John G. Neihardt Center in Bancroft, Nebraska, The Shannon Trail organization, and other related groups.

Their joint performances include among others John & Mona Neihardt at the 50th anniversary of Neihardt Day last August, Zerelda James and her outlaw son Jesse, and early pioneers Leonard & Theresa Weigand. Brad performs as 1800’s Dixon County sheriff Mason DeWitt, and Raija’s portrayal of a Women’s Christian Temperance Union member with Bible and hatchet in hand is unforgettable.  She also portrays the Four Wives of Samuel Haskin in order with costume changes.
